Chikuwa Toast

  1. Cut the chikuwa vertically in four pieces, then cut into antoher fourths to make them into easy-to-eat pieces.
  2. (For small chikuwa, cut horizontally into three pieces, and use a total of 1.5 sticks )
  3. Spread mayonnaise on the bread, then scatter the chikuwa.
  4. Top with soy sauce on the surface.
  5. Because of the chikuwa, toast it for a bit longer than normall.
  6. Once toasted, spread the sesame oil on top, scatter the sesame seeds on the surface and enjoy!
  7. This is the chikuwa bread that they sell at my local convenience store.
  8. The chikuwa is stuffed with tuna and mayonnaise.
  9. The tuna is a wonderful addition.
  10. If you want a more filling snack (or if you have leftover tuna), try putting tuna, soy sauce, and mayonnaise under the chikuwa!
