Golden Margarita

  1. Fill a cocktail shaker halfway with ice.
  2. Add the tequila, liqueur, lime juice, Simple Syrup and egg whites.
  3. Shake for 8 to 10 seconds.
  4. Strain into a rocks glass filled with ice.
  5. Put the sugar and water in a small saucepan.
  6. Cook over low heat, stirring, until the sugar dissolves.
  7. (Alternatively, heat in the microwave.)
  8. Store in a sealed container in the refrigerator.
