Chicken Sausage and Pasta
- 8 sweet italian style chicken sausage
- 1 green bell pepper
- 1 yellow pepper
- 4 garlic cloves
- 1 teaspoon rosemary
- 10 ounces Italian-style diced tomatoes, drained
- 1 large onion
- 12 ounces bow tie pasta
- 8 ounces heavy cream
- 6 ounces parmesan cheese
- 4 ounces mascarpone cheese
- salt and pepper
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 14 cup water
- cook pasta according to direction and drain; set aside.
- place water in saute pan and on medium cook sausages for 10 minutes; turn at 5 minutes.
- remove from pan and slice into 1/4 inch slices.
- place olive oil in pan on medium heat and add peppers and onion.
- sautee for 10 minutes.
- Add salt and pepper to taste.
- add garlic, rosemary and tomatoes to pan.
- in saucepan, add heavy cream, parmesean cheese and marscapone.
- stir on medium heat until cheese melted.
- add all ingredients into large pasta pot, mix and then serve.
- add grated cheese to taste.
