Baked Apples with a Twist
- 4 each apples peeled and cored
- 2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 2 tablespoon sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar, light
- 1/2 cup oats, quick cooking
- 1/4 cup grape juice
- Preheat oven to 340 degrees Cut of bottom part of apples so they stand up straight, making sure not to cut all the way through.
- Place apples in glass casserole dish, sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar.
- Fill middle with oatmeal and brown sugar.
- Top with additional brown sugar.
- fill casserole dish with 1cm of water, add the juice.
- Bake for 20 to 25 minutes, until apples are soft.
