Beef Noodle Stove Top Casserole Recipe
- 1 1/2 lb Grnd Beef
- 1 1/2 c. Onion, Minced
- 1 c. Celery, Minced
- 1/2 c. Sweet Green Peppers, Minced
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1/4 tsp Pepper
- 19 ounce Canned Tomatoes
- 19 ounce Tomato Juice
- 19 ounce Canned Kidney Beans, Red, Undrained
- 10 ounce Canned Mushrooms, Undrained
- 1 Tbsp. Chili Pwdr
- 1/3 lb Broad Noodles, Uncooked
- In a very large heavy pot or possibly Dutch oven, brown grnd beef.
- Add in onion, celery, green pepper, salt and pepper.
- Cook, stirring often, till vegetables are softened.
- Drain off any excess fat.
- Add in tomatoes, tomato juice, kidney beans, mushrooms and chili pwdr.
- Bring to boil; stir in noodles.
- Reduce heat, cover and simmer for about 15 min or possibly till noodles are tender.
- Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary.
- Makes about 8servings.
