Applesauce Dessert
- 1 1/2 to 2 cups sugar
- 1 to 2 Tbs. cinnamon
- 1 1/2 to 2 cups water
- 8 tart apples, peeled, cored and sliced thin
- Zest of 3 lemons
- 1/2 cup lemon juice
- 13 cup orange blossom water
- Combine sugar, cinnamon and water in large saucepan.
- Bring to a boil over medium-high heat, reduce heat to low, and add apples, lemon zest, lemon juice and orange blossom water.
- Cook, stirring often, for 20 to 30 minutes, or until mixture begins to thicken and dry out.
- Remove from heat, and serve hot or cooled.
