Sausage Shell Rice Pie Recipe
- 1 pound bulk sausage
- 1 c. fine cracker crumbs
- 1/4 c. chopped onion
- 1/2 c. chopped green pepper
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 can tomato soup
- 3 c. cooked rice
- 1 c. grated cheese
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- Mix sausage, crumbs, onion, green pepper, 1/2 tsp.
- salt and 1/2 can tomato soup together.
- Pat mix into 10 inch pie plate.
- Combine cooked rice, cheese, pepper, remaining soup and salt.
- Place into pie shell.
- Bake one hour at 350 degrees.
