Patty's Applesauce Cake
- 12 cup butter or 12 cup margarine
- 2 cups sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 12 cups sifted all-purpose flour
- 1 12 teaspoons baking soda
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 12 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 14 teaspoon ground allspice
- 1 12 cups applesauce
- 12 cup raisins
- 12 cup chopped pecans
- Cream butter/margarine.
- Add sugar, creaming till light & fluffy.
- Add eggs, one at a time.
- Beat well after each addition.
- Sift together flour, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg and allspice.
- Add flour mixture to creamed mixture alternately with applwsauce.
- Stir raisins & pecans into batter.
- Turn batter into greased & lightly floured 13x9x2 inch pan.
- Bake at 350 deg about 45 minutes or till done.
- Cool cake in pan.
