Green Peppers Stir Fried with Mentsuyu Butter and Lots of Bonito Flakes
- 2 to 3 Green bell peppers
- 1 heaping teaspoon Butter (or margarine)
- 1 tsp Mentsuyu
- 1/2 small packet Bonito flakes
- Cut the peppers in half lengthwise and take out the seeds.
- Slice into .5 cm thick.
- Heat butter in a pan and stir-fry the sliced peppers.
- When the peppers are cooked through, add the mentsuyu sauce and mix.
- Add the bonitor flakes, stir fry briefly and it's done.
- Here's one user, "Yoyone," who added red bell peppers.
- Another person added some bamboo shoot.
- Adding shiitake mushrooms looks delicious as well.
- Here's one with ham and corn.
