Cheese & Bacon Pao de Queijo
- 150 grams Mochiko (or shiratamako)
- 1 dash Sugar
- 50 ml~ Milk
- 1 Egg (S)
- 1 tbsp Vegetable oil
- 30 grams Grated cheese
- 1 A: Processed cheese
- 1 B: Bacon
- Knead the shiratama flour well, while adding the milk little by little.
- Keep kneading while adding the beaten egg.
- Lastly, add the oil and knead well.
- Divide the mixture into two.
- Into one half (A), add the grated cheese and knead well.
- Add the cubed cheese and bring together into a ball.
- Into the other half (B), add the bacon and coarsely ground pepper, and knead well.
- Form into balls about the size of a ping-pong ball.
- Bake for about 20 minutes in a 180C oven.
- Once baked, put them into a plastic bag while they are still hot, and leave it in the sealed bag until cooled.
- The steam will make them chewy as they cool down.
