Chocolate Pecan Brittle

  1. Combine sugar, corn syrup and salt in 1-1/2 qt glass bowl or casserole.
  2. Microwave on HIGH for 4 minutes.
  3. Stir in pecans.
  4. Microwave on HIGH for 4 minutes or until lightly browned, stirring every 2 minutes.
  5. Add butter, vanilla and chocolate; stir until chocolate is melted.
  6. Pour mixture onto greased baking sheet, spreading as thin as possible, using 2 forks.
  7. Cool and break into small pieces.
