Cuban-Style Ham & Turkey Sandwiches
- 1 loaf French bread (225 g), split
- 4 tsp. Dijon mustard
- 80 g thinly sliced deli oven-roasted turkey breast
- 80 g thinly sliced deli baked ham
- 1 Claussen Dill Pickle, cut lengthwise into 4 slices
- 4 Kraft Singles Swiss Cheese Slices
- 1/4 cup Miracle Whip Original Spread Family Dollar $3.50 thru 02/07
- Spread cut sides of bread with mustard; fill with all remaining ingredients except Miracle Whip.
- Cut into 4 pieces.
- Heat large skillet on medium-high heat.
- Meanwhile, spread bottoms and tops of sandwiches with Miracle Whip.
- Place sandwiches, bottom-sides down, in skillet; cook 12 to 14 min.
- or until cheese is melted and both sides of sandwiches are golden brown, turning after 7 min.
- and frequently pressing down on tops of sandwiches with back of spatula to flatten.
