Savory Baked Chicken Recipe
- 1 cut up chicken
- Seasoned salt
- 1 1/2 c. long grain rice (or possibly minute rice)
- 1 3/4 c. chicken broth
- 1 (4 ounce.) can sliced mushrooms (undrained)
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 can cream of celery soup
- 1 pkg. dry onion soup mix
- 1 teaspoon savory
- Sprinkle chicken pcs with seasoned salt and let stand 1/2 hour.
- Spread uncooked rice in bottom of greased 8x10 or possibly 9x13 pan.
- Pour broth over rice and mushrooms.
- Put chicken pcs on rice.
- Combine soups and spread over chicken.
- Combine onion soup mix and savory and sprinkle over the top.
- Cover with foil.
- Bake 350 degrees 1 hour.
- Uncover and bake till tender.
