Slow cooker country style ribs

  1. Layer sliced onion in the bottom of your slow cooker.
  2. Trim excess fat from the outside of the ribs.
  3. Salt and pepper all sides of the ribs rubbing it into the meat.
  4. Layer on top of onions.
  5. Pour 1/4 cup of apple juice over ribs.
  6. Cook on low 6-8 hours or until tender.
  7. Remove any bones from meat and drain liquid from slow cooker.
  8. Coat meat in your favorite barbecue sauce.
  9. Cook 1 more hour in slow cooker.
  10. Serve.
