Boston Cream Dessert Recipe
- 1 box yellow Jiffy cake mix
- 1 (8 ounce.) pkg. cream cheese
- 3/4 c. powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 c. whipping cream
- 1 (15 1/2 ounce.) can cherry pie filling
- Mix cake mix as directed on box.
- Pour into a 9x13 inch greased pan.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 15 min.
- Cold.
- Blend together till smooth, the cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla.
- Whip the whipping cream, and blend together with the cream cheese mix.
- Pour over cooled cake.
- Top with the pie filling.
- Chill.
- 15 servings.
