Cinnamon Rolls
- 3 c. milk
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 c. Crisco
- 4 tsp. salt
- 1 stick butter
- 4 Tbsp. yeast
- 1/2 c. warm water
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
- 4 eggs
- 10 c. flour
- 1 stick melted butter
- cinnamon-sugar
- Scald milk.
- Add sugar, Crisco, salt and butter.
- Set aside to cool.
- After cool, dissolve yeast in warm water with 1 tablespoon sugar.
- Combine milk mixture and yeast mixture.
- Add eggs; stir in flour.
- Dough will be soft and slightly sticky.
- Knead dough on floured surface for 10 minutes.
- Let rise until double.
- Punch down; let rise to double again.
- Divide into 4 pieces.
- Roll into jelly roll; spread melted butter on dough.
- Sprinkle with cinnamon sugar.
- Roll into jelly roll; slice.
- Let rise and bake at 350u0b0.
