Simple Hush Puppies

• 1 cup pancake mix or 1 cup biscuit mix
• 1 cup cornmeal
• 2 tablespoons finely chopped onions
• 1 teaspoon salt
• 1 pinch salt
• 1 egg
• 34 cup milk

1. In a medium bowl, mix together egg, milk, & onion.
2. Add the biscuit mix, cornmeal, & salt.
3. Stir until blended.
4. Using a small ice cream scoop, drop batter into hot oil and fry until golden brown.
5. Drain, serve, enjoy.
