Sour Cream Cheese Potatoes Recipe
- 2 lbs. frzn hash browns, thawed
- 2 sticks butter
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 1/2 c. onions, minced
- 1 pkg. Cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1 pt. lowfat sour cream
- 1 teaspoon salt
- Dash of garlic salt
- 2 c. cornflakes
- Mix all ingredients except 1 stick butter and corn flakes.
- Put in greased casserole (9 x 13 inches).
- Heat other stick butter and pour over 2 c. cornflakes.
- Sprinkle on top.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 1 1/2 hrs.
- Can be made up ahead of time.
- Variation: 2 tsp.
- salt, 1/4 tsp.
- pepper, decrease topping ingredients to 2 Tbsp.
- butter and 1 1/2 c. cornflakes.
- This can be frzn in oven dish till needed.
