Apple Crunch Pie With Cinnamon Ice Cream Recipe
- 6 x Juicy sour apples
- 1 c. Flour
- 1 c. Brown sugar
- 1/4 lb Margarine
- 1/2 pt Whipping cream
- 2 Tbsp. Sugar
- 1 tsp Cinnamon (heaping)
- 1 quart Vanilla ice cream
- 1 Tbsp. Red-warm cinnamon candy (opt)
- PIE: Pare, core and slice apples, and put in pie plate.
- Mix flour and brown sugar, then add in margarine and mix till crumbly.
- Sprinkle this mix over apples and bake at 350 deg.
- for about 30 minutes.
- or possibly till apples are done.
- Serve hot with Cinnamon Ice Cream.
- CINNAMON ICE CREAM: Whip the cream, add in sugar and cinnamon.
- Soften ice cream; add in cinnamon mix and whip.
- If you like, add in cinnamon candy.
