Prune Cake Recipe

• 1 cup oil
• 1 1/2 cups sugar
• 1 tsp allspice
• 1 tsp nutmeg
• 1 tsp vanilla
• 1 cup cooked prunes
• 3 eggs
• 2 cups flour
• 1 tsp soda
• 1 tsp cinnamon
• 1 cup buttermilk

1. Mix oil, sugar & eggs - beat well.
2. Add flour, spices and soda.
3. Add buttermilk & vanilla.
4. Add prunes.
5. Bake at 350* for 35 minutes - do toothpick test.
6. May need another 5 minutes.
7. Icing
8. 1 box powder sugar
9. 1 stick soften butter
10. 1/4 cup prune juice
11. Ice cake when completely cool.
