Asparagus Swiss Recipe
- 1 can All green asparagus spears
- 1/2 stk butter
- 2 Tbsp. (heaping) flour
- 1 c. Juice from asparagus
- 1 c. Rich sweet lowfat milk
- 1 c. Grated Swiss cheese
- 2 slc Bread crumbs
- Heat butter in saucepan.
- Add in flour and stir till smooth.
- Add in liquid slowly and cook till thickened.
- Add in grated cheese, set aside.
- Cut and arrange spears in dish, layer with bread crumbs.
- Pour sauce over asparagus; top with remaining bread crumbs.
- Bake 15 min in 400 degree oven.
- Serve warm.
