Stuffed Cheese Pizza

  1. To make the crust, dissolve the yeast in the warm water in a large bowl.
  2. Add the flour, salt, oregano, oil and 1 cup water.
  3. Mix well.
  4. Knead the dough on a lightly-floured surface for about 2 minutes, or until the dough is smooth.
  5. Place the dough in an oiled bowl.
  6. Cover with a damp towel and let rise in a warm place for 1 hour, or until doubled in bulk.
  7. Punch down the dough.
  8. Divide into two parts.
  9. Press half the dough onto the bottom of a 10-inch oiled pie pan.
  10. Sprinkle the cheese and broccoli over the dough.
  11. Press the other half of the dough into a 10-inch round.
  12. Set on top of the cheese and broccoli.
  13. Crimp the edges together.
  14. Make several slashes in the top crust.
  15. Bake in a 400-degree oven for 20 to 25 minutes, or until golden brown.
  16. Remove from the oven.
  17. Spread on the pizza sauce.
  18. Bake for 5 minutes.
