Belgian Dessert Waffles

  1. Lightly oil and preheat the waffle iron at medium heat.
  2. In large mixing bowl, combine all ingredients.
  3. Blend and beat as directed on cake package.
  4. (Batter will be thick).
  5. Pour about 1 cup (225 ml) batter (for 9 inch) in preheated waffle iron.
  6. Bake until waffle is golden brown, about 2 to 4 minutes.
  7. Serve with fresh fruit or whipped cream.
