Fruit Cocktail Cake
- 2 cups (475 ml) flour
- 2 cups (475 ml) sugar
- 1 tsp (5 ml). baking soda
- 1 pinch of salt
- 2 eggs
- 2 cans drained fruit cocktail
- 2 cups (475 ml) sugar
- 1 can evaporated milk
- 1 tsp (5 ml). vanila
- 1 stick butter (or margarine)
- Mix all cake ingredients together.
- Bake in a 350 degree (175 C.) oven about 30 minutes.
- Combine topping ingredients in sauce pan and bring to a fast boil.
- Remove from heat and pour on hot cake.
