Macrobiotic Diet - Spring Onion Tofu Hamburger Patties
- 150 grams Tofu
- 200 grams Onion
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 1/2 tsp White sesame paste
- 1 Soy milk
- 1/8 tsp Curry powder
- 1 Soy sauce
- 100 ml Panko
- 1 Olive oil
- 1 tbsp each Ketchup, Japanese Worcestershire-style sauce
- 1 Tofu mayonnaise
- Drain excess water from the tofu.
- Finely mince the onion and saute with olive oil.
- Add salt, soy sauce and white sesame paste to the onion.
- Turn off the heat when it's mixed.
- Put the tofu in a bowl and mash with a fork.
- Add the onion, panko and curry powder to the tofu.
- Then add an appropriate amount of soy milk and mix together.
- Form into 4 balls.
- Heat the olive oil in a frying pan, and fry the tofu hamburgers until both sides have browned.
- Mix Japanese Worcestershire-style sauce with ketchup and pour it over the hamburgers.
