Vickys Ras-El-Hanout Moroccan Spice Mix, Gluten, Dairy, Egg & Soy-Free
- 1 tbsp ground coriander
- 1 tbsp ground ginger
- 2 tsp ground black pepper
- 2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 2 tsp paprika
- 2 tsp ground allspice
- 2 tsp ground cumin
- 2 tsp chilli powder
- 2 tsp ground turmeric
- 1 1/2 tsp ground nutmeg
- 1 1/2 tsp ground green cardamom
- 1 1/2 tsp ground mace
- 1 tsp lavender buds, ground (around 1/2 teaspoon ground)
- 3/4 tsp ground fennel seeds
- 3/4 tsp ground star anise
- 1/2 tsp ground fenugreek
- 1/2 tsp ground cloves
- 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
- 2 dried bay leaves, ground (around 1/8th teaspoon ground)
- Combine all ingredients in a bowl and mix together well.
- I use my coffee grinder to grind the seeds, bay leaves etc
- Store the spice mix in an airtight container, an empty cinnamon jar is ideal
- Makes around 70g / half a cup
