Honey Wheat Bread
- 2 cups warm water (110 degrees)
- 2 (4 ounce) packages active dry yeast
- 12 cup honey
- 2 cups wheat flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 13 cup oil
- 5 cups white flour
- Dissolve yeast in water in large mixing bowl.
- Add honey and stir until melted.
- Add salt, oil and wheat flour and mix well.
- Mix in white flour gradually until dough is consistency that can be kneaded.
- Kneed dough on floured surface for 10-15 minutes.
- Lightly coat a large bowl with oil.
- Put dough in oiled bowl and cover with damp cloth.
- Let rise until dough has doubled in size, about 45 minutes.
- Deflate.
- Shape dough into 2 loaves.
- Put loaves into 2 greased loaf pans.
- Let rise until 1 or 1 1/2 inches above loaf pans.
- Bake at 375 for 25-30 minutes.
- Let bread cool for at least 20 minutes before slicing.
