NY Reuben
- 6 slices pastrami
- 2 slices marble rye
- 1 handful sauerkraut
- 1 T country dijon mustard
- 2 slices Swiss cheese
- 1000 Island dressing; to taste
- Layer 1000 island dressing on bottom slice, pastrami, swiss, sauerkraut, and mustard on top slice.
- Toast in oven or on panini press.
- Variations; Turkey, corned beef, dijon, braised sauerkraut, caraway rye, chili sauce and mayo (1000 island), munster cheese, pepperjack, pickled veggies, sourdough, toast in pan with butter
