Chocolate Hazelnut Biscuits/ Cookies
- 125 g butter, chopped
- 250 g dark chocolate, roughly chopped
- 3 eggs, beaten
- 34 cup brown sugar
- 1 14 cups plain flour
- 12 cup cocoa powder
- 12 cup dark chocolate chips
- 12 cup roasted hazelnuts
- vanilla ice cream, to serve
- Prehat oven to 200C (400F) and line 2 baking trays with baking paper.
- Combine butter and chopped dark chocolate in a small saucepan over low heat, stirring constantly, until chocolate has melted and mixture is smooth and combined.
- Transfer to a large bowl, add eggs and sugar.
- Stir until combined.
- Sift flour and cocoa together over the chocolate mixture, then gently fold through.
- Add choc chips and hazelnuts, stir until combined.
- Drop tablespoonfuls of biscuit mixture onto baking trays, allowing room for spreading.
- Bake for 10 - 12 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool.
