Hamburger Kishke Recipe
- Pie crust baked 10 min at 400 degrees
- 3/4 pound hamburger
- 3/4 c. Swiss cheese
- 3/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1/2 c. minced onion
- 1 c. mayonnaise
- 2 Large eggs
- 1 teaspoon allspice
- 1 1/2 c. shredded cheddar cheese
- 3/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon garlic pwdr
- 1 green pepper, diced
- 1/2 c. lowfat milk
- 1/3 c. cornstarch
- Brown hamburger in a skillet; drain well.
- In a separate skillet put about a Tbsp.
- of oil.
- Add in allspice, cornstarch, salt and pepper, garlic pwdr, onion and pepper.
- Cook till brown.
- Add in to meat mix.
- In a bowl combine mayonnaise, lowfat milk, Large eggs and 1/3 the cheese.
- Once mixed, add in the meat mix and mix well.
- Pour in the pie shell.
- Top with remainder of cheese.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 20-30 min.
