Extremely Easy! Hamburger Steaks Simmered in Ketchup Sauce

  1. Add milk to the panko to soften.
  2. Add the microwaved onions, ground meat, and eggs to a bowl and knead.
  3. Add salt and pepper, and nutmeg if you have.
  4. Fry on both sides in a frying pan.
  5. Wipe out the excess grease in the pan with a paper towel.
  6. Add the onions and mushrooms.
  7. You don't need to saute them.
  8. Squueze in the ketchup.
  9. Add the water (or vegetable juice if you have it... this makes the flavor richer).
  10. Cover with a lid without stirring and slowly boil over low-medium heat.
  11. The moisture that comes out of the vegetables will turn the sauce into a tomato sauce.
  12. Simmer to reduce it down to your desired consistency.
  13. I added coffee cream as the finishing touch.
