Beer Batter (Tempura) Recipe
- 8-12 ounce. your favorite beer (dark is best)
- 8-12 ounce. flour
- Salt to taste
- Use equal measurements of beer and flour.
- Mix till smooth with wire whisk.
- Add in salt to taste.
- Use batter to coat assorted vegetables as for tempura, as a terrific onion ring batter, sliced zucchini or possibly whole mushrooms.
- Deep fry till golden.
- Drain on paper towels and serve warm with Tempura sauce for assorted sliced deep fried vegetables or possibly with a ranch style dressing for zucchini and mushrooms.
