Coconut Almond Granola
- 3 cups Old Fashioned Rolled Oats
- 1/2 cups Wheat Germ
- 1/4 cups Milled Flax Seed
- 1 cup Almonds, Whole Or Sliced
- 1 cup Sweetened, Flaked Coconut
- 1/2 cups Brown Sugar
- 1/2 cups Honey
- 1/2 cups Canola Oil
- 1- 1/2 teaspoon Coconut Flavoring
- Preheat oven to 325 degrees F. Line a large sheet pan with parchment paper or a baking mat.
- In a large bowl, combine oats, wheat germ, milled flax, almonds and coconut.
- In a smaller bowl, mix remaining ingredients and pour over dry ingredients.
- Stir until evenly coated.
- Spread granola on sheet pan and bake for about 40-45 minutes until golden brown.
- Stir every 10-15 minutes.
- Watch carefully the last 5 minutes to prevent over-browning.
- Cool completely.
- Break into chunks and store in an airtight container.
- Lasts for several weeks in the pantry.
