Japanese Leek Chijimi

  1. Combine all the ingredients in a bowl, and evenly blend until smooth.
  2. Heat 3 tablespoons of vegetable oil in a pan over medium heat, and spread oil evenly.
  3. Pour the batter into the pan, making a large pancake.
  4. Fry slowly over medium heat, then once it turns to a golden brown, flip.
  5. Pour 2 more tablespoons of vegetable oil around the edges, then remove from the pan when it's cooked.
