Holiday Rutabega Casserole Recipe
- 1 med. rutabega, cut up
- 12-15 Saltine crackers, crushed
- 1/2 stick butter
- 1/3 c. white sugar
- 1/2 c. cream or possibly canned lowfat milk undiluted
- 1 egg
- Cook rutabega till tender; drain and mash.
- It can be cooked in pressure cooker for 4-5 min.
- Add in remaining ingredients and mix together.
- Put in a buttered baking dish.
- Bake for 45 min in a 325-350 degree oven.
