Liver Nips Recipe
- 2 pound stew beef
- 6 c. beef stock
- 2 tomatoes
- 1 c. liver, minced
- 1 c. suet, minced
- 1 egg
- 1 med. onion
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon baking pwdr
- 1 teaspoon sage
- 1 c. lowfat milk
- Flour
- Cook stew beef.
- Remove stew beef and set aside.
- In 6 c. of beef stock, add in 2 minced tomatoes and cook for 15 min.
- Mix all remaining ingredients and add in sufficient flour to make a medium stiff batter.
- Drop batter by tsp.
- into boiling broth.
- Let broil about 30 min.
- When nips are done, add in stew beef and serve.
