Stuffed Green Peppers
- 4 green peppers
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 tsp. garlic salt
- 1 Tbsp. parsley flakes (optional)
- 1 c. Minute rice
- 1/4 c. water
- 1 medium onion, finely chopped
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1 large can tomato sauce
- Mozzarella cheese or Cheddar cheese (for top)
- Wash peppers and hollow them out.
- Put 1/4 cup water in microwave-safe casserole dish with peppers.
- Microwave 2 minutes on High. Drain off water and let peppers dry.
- Crumble hamburger and mix with onion.
- Microwave 5 minutes on High. Stir in garlic salt, pepper, parsley flakes, rice and 1/2 can tomato sauce. Fill peppers.
- Pour remaining sauce over top.
- Microwave, covered, 10 minutes on High.
- Top with cheese and microwave 2 minutes.
