Shepherds Pie
- 3 pounds Ground Beef
- 2 teaspoons Chopped Onion
- 1 package Brown Gravy Mix (1 Ounce Packet)
- 1 cup Hot Water
- 2 cans (15 Oz. Size) Corn Niblets
- 1 can (15 Oz. Size) Peas
- 6 cups Mashed Potatoes, Cooked
- 2 Tablespoons Butter
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Brown ground beef and onion until cooked.
- Drain and add beef to 9X13 pan.
- Combine the gravy mix and hot water and pour it over the meat.
- Layer corn, peas over the meat mixture and then top with mashed potatoes.
- Slice several pats of butter and put on top of casserole.
- Then cover with foil and bake for 45 minutes.
- Remove foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes to brown top.
