Mom's Meatloaf Recipe

  1. Position a rack in the center of the oven.
  2. Preheat the oven to 350F.
  3. Lightly grease a 9x5"(8 cup)loaf pan.
  4. Combine all ingredients in a large bowl
  5. Knead the mixture with your hands until everything is well blended.
  6. Do not overmix.
  7. Fill the loaf pan with the meat mixture, mounding the top.
  8. Place the pan on a baking sheet and bake until the meat is firm to the touch and has shrunk from the sides of the pan.
  9. Should take about 60-75 minutes.
  10. Pour off the excess fat and let stand for 5 minutes.
  11. Serve
