Chocolate Mud Torte Recipe
- 2 c. crumbled chocolate cookies
- 8 ounce. semi-sweet chocolate bar
- 1 pt. whipping cream, whipped
- Place beaters and glass bowl for whipping cream in freezer for 10 min.
- (Cream will whip easier).
- To make crust, press most of crumbled chocolate cookies into small pan.
- Keep remaining crumbled cookies for topping.
- Heat chocolate bar in a double boiler.
- Whip cream to soft peak in mixing bowl; whip in cooled melted chocolate and pour into pan.
- Sprinkle with remaining crushed cookies and freeze.
- Makes 8 servings.
