Maple-Lemon Skirt Steak
- 3 tablespoons maple syrup
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
- 1 minced garlic clove
- 1 lb skirt steak
- Whisk maple syrup, lemon juice, Dijon mustard, and minced garlic clove in a small saucepan.
- Season skirt steak with 1/2 teaspoon salt and 1/4 teaspoon black pepper and set aside.
- Heat a lightly oiled grill pan or heavy frying pan over medium-high heat.
- Cook steak to desired doneness, about 3 minutes per side for medium-rare.
- Transfer to a cutting board and let rest 5 minutes.
- Meanwhile, bring maple-lemon mixture to a boil over medium-high heat.
- Simmer for one minute.
- Cut steak across the grain into thin slices and drizzle with sauce.
