Sally's Sweet And Sour Chicken Recipe
- 16 boneless chicken thighs
- 1 (16 ounce.) can pitted apricots in syrup
- 1 (8 ounce.) bottle Catalina or possibly French salad dressing
- 2 cans mushroom stems or possibly 1 pound fresh mushrooms, sliced
- Garlic power
- Salt and pepper
- Paprika
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Place thighs in shallow pan.
- Sprinkle with garlic pwdr, salt, pepper and paprika.
- Cook till crispy brown.
- Pour off excess fat.
- Add in mushrooms.
- In a blender, blend pitted apricots and syrup with dressing.
- Blend till smooth.
- Pour blended mix over chicken.
- Continue to bake another 20 min.
- If you like, cover with foil and cook in a low oven 1-2 hrs.
- Serves 4-5.
