Cream Cheese Cookies

  1. Cream butter and cheese together in bowl.
  2. Blend in egg yolk and vanilla.
  3. Add dry cake mix 1/3 at a time.
  4. If using mixer add last 1/3 by hand.
  5. Mixture will be very dry, if needed you may add a touch of water to it to help mix, but it is suppose to be dry.
  6. Cover and chill for 30 mins.
  7. Heat oven to 375F.
  8. Drop by level spoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets.
  9. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes or until lightly brown.
  10. Cool slightly before removing from sheets.
