Cream Cheese Cookies
- 1/4 cup butter
- margirine
- 1 pkg. cream cheese; softened
- 1 egg yolk
- 1/4 tsp. vanilla
- 1 pkg. yellow cake mix
- Cream butter and cheese together in bowl.
- Blend in egg yolk and vanilla.
- Add dry cake mix 1/3 at a time.
- If using mixer add last 1/3 by hand.
- Mixture will be very dry, if needed you may add a touch of water to it to help mix, but it is suppose to be dry.
- Cover and chill for 30 mins.
- Heat oven to 375F.
- Drop by level spoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets.
- Bake for 8 to 10 minutes or until lightly brown.
- Cool slightly before removing from sheets.
