Cheesy Rice & Broccoli Casserole
- 1 (16 ounce) bag broccoli florets, thawed
- 34 cup celery, chopped
- 1 (8 ounce) can sliced water chestnuts, chopped in quarters
- 2 (10 3/4 ounce) cans cream of celery soup
- 12 cup butter, melted
- 1 (8 ounce) jar Cheese Whiz
- 2 cups instant rice, uncooked
- Mix all ingredients together.
- Put in greased 13x9 inch casserole dish.
- Bake at 325 F for 1 hour.
- Heart healthy substitutions: Use Healthy Request Campbell's Cream of Celery soup, Smart Balance margarine (or other similar product), omit Cheese Whiz and use 2 c fat free shredded cheddar cheese, instant brown rice.
