Maryanne's Puffed Wheat Cake

  1. Combine butter, corn syrup and sugar and bring to a boil.
  2. Add cocoa.
  3. Let it boil slowly for 4-5 minutes.
  4. Don't over boil or it will get too hard.
  5. Remove from heat and add vanilla.
  6. Pour over puffed wheat, stirring until all wheat puffs are well coated.
  7. Pack firmly into a buttered 9x13 pan.
  8. Let cool, then cut into 24 pieces.
