Louise Meadow's Wonderful Pumpkin Cake

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease a 9 x 13-inch baking pan.
  2. Sift together into a medium bowl , the flour, cinnamon, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In a large bowl, combine the eggs, oil, and sugar.
  4. Add the dry ingredients to the liquid ingredients along with the canned pumpkin.
  5. mixing well.
  6. Pour into prepared baking pan.
  7. Bake in prepared oven 40 minutes.
  8. Cool.
  9. Combine frosting ingredients, mixing well, and frost cooled cake.
  10. Keep frosted cake refrigerated.
