Moist Oatmeal Cookies Recipe

• 1 c. water
• 1 c. raisins
• 1 c. butter
• 1/2 teaspoon each of cinnamon, nutmeg & salt
• 1/2 c. nut meats
• 2 Large eggs, well beaten
• 1 teaspoon vanilla
• 1 teaspoon soda
• 1 c. sugar
• 2 c. flour
• 2 c. quick oatmeal

1. Combine sugar, water, raisins, and shortening.
2. Add in spices, salt and nuts.
3. Boil these ingredients 10 min.
4. Set aside to cold.
5. Then add in Large eggs, vanilla, flour, oats and soda to the cooled mix.
6. Drop by spoonsful on greased cookie sheet.
7. Bake for 10 min at 350 degrees or possibly till brown.
