Basic Biscuits Recipe
- 2 c. flour
- 3 teaspoon baking pwdr
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 c. shortening
- 3/4 c. lowfat milk (buttermilk)
- Sift together flour, baking pwdr and salt.
- Cut in shortening and lowfat milk.
- Stir into soft ball.
- Turn dough onto floured board.
- Knead lightly 20 to 25 min.
- Roll dough 1/2 inch thick.
- Cut with floured biscuit cutter.
- Place on ungreased cookie sheet and bake 12 min.
