Garlic Beef and Vegetables
- 500g rump steak, sliced finely
- 2 cloves garlic, crushed
- 3/4 cup sugar snap peas
- 6 spring onions, cut into 3cm lengths
- Combine
- 2 teaspoons plum sauce
- 1 tablespoon water
- 1 tablespoon sherry
- 2 teaspoons sugar
- 1 tablespoon VEGEMITE
- 1/2 bunch silverbeet, roughly chopped
- Heat a frying pan or wok, add a little oil, and cook steak and garlic in small amounts until meat is just browned.
- Add sugar peas, spring onions and combined ingredients (Vegemite*, sugar, sherry, water and plum sauce).
- Stir fry for 4 - 5 minutes or until vegetables are tender.
- Add silverbeet, tossing gently until just cooked.
- Serve immediately with rice or noodles.
