Vickys Vegan Pesto with Nut-Free Option
- bunch fresh basil leaves
- 160 ml olive oil
- 5 clove garlic
- 45 grams walnuts, almonds, pine nuts or shelled sunflower seeds
- 40 grams nutritional yeast flakes
- Toast the nuts under the grill or in a dry frying pan until lightly browned
- When they've cooled put them, with the rest of the ingredients, into a blender and puree
- Season to taste and serve on pizza, pasta, fish, fries, burgers anything you like!
